CHRIST’S COVENANT CHURCH GATHERINGS
Where and Why We Gather
Christ’s Covenant Church gathers together to worship our resurrected King Jesus once a week at 6pm on Sunday evenings at the building of Grace Community Assembly (3101 Gretna Road, Branson).
Since the early days of Christianity, followers of Jesus have been meeting regularly to exalt the risen Savior, edify the saints, and evangelize the lost. The writer of the book of Hebrews captures this in verses 10:23-25:
Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful. 24 And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, 25 not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.
We gather to encourage one another through the preaching of the Holy Scriptures, singing, prayer, communion, and fellowship. God has spoken to us through his word, and we hold the preaching of the Scriptures as the centerpiece of Christian worship.
We also believe that families should worship together. CCC offers childcare for infants – 5 years old, but older children will be with their parents in the worship service. Parents have the greatest impact on the faith of their children, and we believe that children should be engaged in the life of the church from an early age.
Member Care Groups
Members of Christ’s Covenant Church gather weekly in small groups throughout the Branson community. These member-only groups meet in members’ homes and include intentional times of Bible study, prayer, and fellowship.
We believe that small groups are essential for members of Christ’s Covenant because small groups provide opportunities for accountability, fellowship, reflection, and mutual learning that members often do not find in larger gatherings.
